I decided to switch it up! with....NEUTRALS!
Holy crap, has she gone mad? Brown? WTF! WHERE'S THE BRIGHT PINK, LADY?!? GIMMIE YELLOW!
Well nah. Not for Sunday's makeup (I know I messed up the order of my EOTD's, I got behind reading a horrible book that has to do with a certain emo shimmer vamp boy and his whiny klutz gf.)
BACK TO LA MAKEUPZ! I wanted a neutral look to use some new colours I've received
A very nice lady on the Aromaleigh forum was kind enough to part with some of her collection and sold a bunch of limited edition holiday eyeshadows.
For this look I used Butterscotch and Allspice from the Aromaleigh Holliday 08 collection (not Blast) and Stardust Cosmetics in Cashmere Mittens to hilight. Eyeliner is Urban Decay in Bourbon.

I like this a lot. I feel like I can never find any good shades for a neutral look, or that I'd look good with it. :/ If I don't wear something colorful I just wear a plain matte brown, and if I'm too boring for that, nothing. I'd really like to learn how to do a neutral look!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I love this!! It looks amazing, definitely not "boring neutrals", you know?
ReplyDeletePsst...I did the same thing when I *cough* read twilight *cough*. Are you on the last book yet? It was totally my favorite, much darker than the other ones.
It was kinda tricky to do a neutral look. I wanted to make sure all the colours were in the same "Family-ish" thingy. (like not have a super sparkly lid with a matte crease) I still think I look weird like this though hahaha. When I was in jr high and high school the most makeup I wore was brown eyeliner and clear mascara (and of course uber lipsmackers) so this is more what I looked like then. But bettah! Only cuz of the shading lol.
ReplyDeleteI just started the 3rd book this morning. I got creeped out when pale dude took a piece of her engine to stop her from seeing furry boy. lol. If that happened in real life people totally would have seen him as a psychopath! I'm hoping for darkness. Getting sick of the "beautiful" descriptions of how glorious Ed is.
