Meow Rainbow's End Swatch

Sooooo not a proper swatch post with my usual 80 pictures of the same stuff but the collection goes buh bye April 1st and someone might be looking for these!

Here's a pic I just took of Meow's Rainbow's End (found with the St Patty's day shades), patted on my hand, no primer. Later I'll re-do this post with good pictures but for now, HERE YA GO PEEPS!

Clockwise from upper left: Claddagh, Sundisc, Or, Lunulae

End Game Armageddon

This combo made my eyes look so brown! I usually don't care about the brownness (browness?) of my eyes because they are just brown, no fancy hilights or anything like lucky blue eyed/green eyed people, just blah brown. If I look closely at them they look like chocolate mountain peaks. Chocolate has no tone so in other words BORING mountain peaks. But as I was lining the lower lashline I thought "holy crap, my eyes look super brown! Like light intense brown."

It was neat.

Enough about brown.

I used the Meow samples I swatched yesterday.

TFSICandlelight
Lid + lower lashline: End Game
Outter corner + lower lashline: Armageddon
Crease: Nostradamus
Browbone: Prophecy

Finally a navy blue I like!! I hate navy blue eyeshadows because they make me look like I have a black eye. Not like when I smoke them out with Sugarpill Buttercupcake to make them look bruisy. That's different. I like the bruisy yellow, don't like the dark angry.

Armageddon is an awesome navy because it has a red shimmer. If I blended it more I probably would have lost the shimmer and been left with navy evil, but I tried to keep the red. You can really see it on the lower lashline. The website doesn't have a colour description so here is my version:

Armageddon: Supremely kick ass non evil navy with fantastic hawt red shimmer.

My new camera shows the shades different, mucho darker. LOOK DAMMIT

I have to play with the settings. There are just too many options on that monster :(

Yellow Snow

I made it through Black Friday without spending a dime. I was so proud of me!

Then got pissed off at something and had to buy stuff and what better time to buy stuff when it's like 25% off?!? So I broke down and made 3 little orders.

2 Labyrinth lippies from Hi Fi, 4 perfumes from OHWTO
aaaahhhh much better. Thank you shopping. You make me happy.

The look I'm posting today I did last Saturday. I didn't mean for it to turn out so yellow, but it looked pretty cool. I wanna throw Buttercupcake on everything. Even my sandwiches.

Especially my sandwiches.

I used:

UDPP
Lid/Crease: Meow Tetrodotoxin minus smack dab in the middle
Lid Centre: Meow Debauchery
Crease/Lower liner: Sugarpill Buttercupcake
Lower liner: MAC Black Line
Browbone: Burberry Trench
Liner: Physicians Formula gel liner

Frig I really hate my eyebrows. When I think I got every annoying hair, I look at the pictures and swear vehemently. I'm theeeeeeese close to just ripping them all out. But there are 5 days a week I can barely be assed to slap on foundation, mascara and blush, let alone damn eyebrows.

Meow Crop Circle & Abductee 2011

Itty bitty swatch post.

BUT FIRST! If you haven't done so yet, check out the Hunger Games trailer!!!!

HOLY.CRAP. I can't wait until March dammit!

Back to makeup...

This year Meow added "Crop Circle" and a new "Abductee" shade to their Alien Abduction Halloween line.

I'm a total dork and when I saw the email saying sale I grabbed everything I wanted in jar form (yay for already swatching!) and skipped the part in the email mentioning the 2 new/kind of hidden shades. Luckily I was able to add them to my order and I'm so glad I did!

Crop Circle reminds me very much of Urban Decay's Baked shade which is my favourite UD shade EVARRR. I swatched them side by side and Crop Circle is a bit darker and just as pretty. <3 it!

Abductee 2011 is a really pretty taupe shade and it photographs like effing MAGIC! To my eyeballs in this dark livingroom light I didn't see the shimmer this intense, but the flash on my camera popped it out. I didn't even have to blur the picture to make it visible, but I included a blurry pic anyways. Just cuz :)
I think this shade photographs better than any other shade I own. How can you see this and NOT WANT IT? You don't want it? CRAZY PERSON.
Oh that's just me :)

Abductee 2011 is very different than last year's Abductee. Abductee 2010 was a dark purple shimmer with silver sparks.

PICTURE TIME!

Abductee 2011. So can I snort it?

The jar!

Since Halloween is over, you'll be SOL getting these dudes for awhile. Last years' Abductee didn't make a comeback, so this years may not show up next year. So I guess this post sort of turned into a Pink Sith "Taupes you can't have" kind of post :D

Abducted by Fireflies

I tried to organize my crap today but that didn't go so well. 1 Makeup company got sorted and that's about it.

THE BEAST

My collection has grown quite a bit from last summer and it's starting to just get ridiculous. I have 2 orders on their way to me and I think that's it until xmas time but then I'm going to try super hard not to buy anymore makeup other than the essentials. I found shit I don't remember buying! NICE!
BTW my sorting turned into "throw shit into drawer with like-items" I would love to try to blog-sale some of my stuff but Canadian shipping to anywhere is stupid expensive.

When I sorted my Meow stuff I found Abduction and it looked close to the yellowy green I've been hunting for! But it's not quite there yet...

I WILL GET YOU YELLOWY GREEN COOLNESS, I WILL!!

What prompted me to try to do a glitter crease is THIS SWEET LOOK by EyeGraffiti. I don't know how she did it cuz mine kinda flopped but go there and subcribe! Her looks are awesome and should have maaaaaany more followers.

MMMMAAAAANNNNEEEEEHHHHHHH

I used today:

UDPP
Lid: Meow Abduction
Browbone: Burberry Trench 01
Crease: Kiss My Sass Fireflies
Inner corner: Meow Radiation
Lower lashline: MAC Blackline with Abduction on top
Liner: Physician's formula gel liner
Blush: My Pretty Zombie MDMA with MAC Lightscapade all over

HAH! Flash made my face uber pale in the first pic. I need to find a finishing powder that likes flash. That would be nifty.

Craptastic books currently reading right here. Holy lordy they are not very good. The cyborgs are basically rapists cuz she's all like "hellz now" and he's all like "BUT YOU WILL LIKE IT AND BE PROPERTY YOU PUNY WOMAN" and then she's all like "YOU WERE RIGHT I LOVE YOU NOW" the end. That so doesn't count as a spolier because that would mean I ruined a story, but it pretty much ruins itself...

Gloom be gone

Hi! It's gloomy out and I'm home alone :( Saturday tv sucks and I have no real life friends in this city so I felt like playing around with my makeup. Oh makeup, you be meh fwend.
I only did one eye because I'm not going anywhere and doing both eyes would be just a waste of makeup!

But hey lady, wouldn't doing 1 eye and not going out be a waste as well?

NOSHADDUP!

Here's what I did and used:

TFSI
NYX Jumbo Milk pencil of awesome smeared on lid for extra bright action!
Lid main: Meow Cosmetics in Meow Cosmetics (yeah that could get confusing...)
Crease: Fa La La from Meow's Merry Mayhem collection
Pink above crease and lower lash line: Aromaleigh's Psychocandy
Browbone: Silk Naturals in Sprite
Black liner above: Joe Fresh Liner
Black liner smudged below: MAC Blackline
White line in between those bad boys: NYX Milk

That was an accident, my upper liner didn't meet up (hah just typed "meat") with the lower liner so I pretended I was supposed to do that and plop some white in there. Very hard when the brush seems stupidly thick.

Click on them to explode them to max pixelness and such. You can see out my livingroom window in the first one, through my eyeball! Teehee.

Visit my post before this to enter my giveaway extravaganza and stuff. Or not. That's cool too. :)

Sunday Boredom

I'm kinda bummed I didn't get many good shots of what I did with this :( The blue tried to come off on the yellow so it went a bit wonky. Oh well. I only did the one eye anyways lol

I did the purple brows after seeing Phyrra rock the purple brow.

I used the Meow limited edition shades over Pixie Epoxy

Lid: Sexting (okay I lied, 1 was regular stock!)
Crease and lower liner: Party Crashers
Upper crease: Get Lucky
Browbone and white line on side: Bubble Bath
Joe fresh felt liner
Brows: Hangover

I meant for the crease to be stronger but every time I went over it, it did the opposite effect and blended!
Eeep!

Oh wells, I was just playing around anyways :)

Poor choice of highlight

Craptastic, that's what I shall dub this look and my choice of highlight. It was wayyyyyyyyyy too metallic. I tried to tone it down with another colour but it wasn't going to happen, the pixie epoxy worked against me with this look. I still love it to bits though :)

I used:
Main: Aromaleigh Zinnia
Outter corner: Aromaleigh Calendula
Highlight: Larkspur
Other highlight to tone it down but fail, Stardust Cashmere Mittens
Eyeliner: Meow cosmetics Coffin
Mascara: guessss.....

Only one shot looked less rediculous than the rest and then I went photoshop nuts to make a decent unnatural looking one. Sweeeeet.

Posting an oldish look with Meow Cosmetics

Here's a look I did a few weeks ago with Meow Cosmetics. I ran out of things to google so 3rd post of the day!

My boyfriend (really hate that word, sounds like jr high.) likes neutrals, so he usually pretty much doesn't like any of my makeup looks lol. But this one he actually liked.

I used:
Friday 13 Skeptic - main lid colour
Friday 13 Supernatural - crease colour (I think, I should have written it down somewhere)
Zombies Skelecat - hilight
Dance of Death Coffin - eyeliner

Coffin is the best mineral eyeliner I've found so far. It's so smooth and you just need a little. It's going to take me a long time to go through the pot but I bought a second one anyway for backup :D

Skeptic was a bit tricky to work with, if you accidently buff it, the pretty pinky shimmer goes away so you have to pat some more on.

I noticed the colours online aren't totally matchy with what you actually get which is why it's important to read the descriptions as well and try samples first so you're not too upset if it's not what you are expecting.
Accident looks lightish online but it's actually quite dark with red shimmer in it. They've even added the extra "Wetlines-RED!" to the description.
Same with Obelisk in the Egyptian Treasures line. It looks like an odd brownish colour, but it actually is a green colour like the description says. Computer screens are rarely 100% for colour matching which is why I love looking for swatches so much. Even when you get a sample bag of something, it may look "meh" in the bag but don't give up on it yet. Actually try it out on the back of your hand. The extra shimmers and whatever else may have been added don't show up in the baggy very well but will show up on your hand (Like I said with Obelisk, it looked quite uninteresting in the bag until I swatched it, then promptly got a full size!)

ummmm that is all for today. bye bye now.
