So I got bored already of the nails I painted yesterday and went over them with Rainbow Honey's 20% Cooler.

Models Own Hayley's Comet Swatch

Just 1 picture on my stubby nails.  Seche Vite destroyed them so I had to cut them all short. >:(
This is Hayley's Comet from the Models Own Beetlejuice collection. 
Head on it's a brownish red with a green/blueish shine.  Towards the light the green turns pink.
A few places bubbled up but I don't know if that's the polish of if I'm painting them wrong. I didn't use a base or top coat so I don't know if that would have helped or made it worse.
Meh!
Cool colour anyways.  It reminds me of all my favourite eyeshadows that look like this, like Aromaleigh's Cookie Party, Mac Club, the one shade in Wet n Wilds Night Elf palette, all those sweet red-ish brown shades with the greeny-blue flash.  LOVE
I believe I bought this from Ninja Polish.

NEAT IDEA ALERT!

Meow Cosmetics came up with a pretty cool limited edition release idea.  10 shades will be released every 60 days and the previous collection will become unavailable.  This will happen 5 times (50 Shades of Meow) and then after the 60 days are up for the last group, all 50 will be available for 60 days and the 10 best sellers will become permanent for Valentines 2014.
I hope I explained that right.
And the reason for the names?  Well I just assume everyone knows what these names are based on but just incase you live under a rock, it's based on the 50 Shades of Grey series.  Since I realized the story was originally a Twilight fanfic all I see is Mopey Stewart and Sparkle Boy whenever I think of the book, I'm just gonna pretend these are based on the other super smutty BDSM themed books instead :D

Meow St. Pattys & Rainbow's End Swatches

It's March folks!  This year seems to be flying by, less than 10 months 'til Christmas :D
I've had my face glued to my Kindle so time seems to be speeding up.  So many books, so little time!
Right now I'm hooked to the Dresden Files.  My boss's boss's boss mentioned the series to me about a year ago and right after Christmas I thought I'd give it a go.

SO AWESOME.

It's less dreary out so I had a bit of energy and dug out Meow's St Patty's day collection and Rainbow's End.  I don't have all the St Patty's day ones which is really bugging me.  I have this thing about posting full collections. This collection won't look complete :/

As I type this, they aren't available yet, but March just started, they'll probably come out soon.

2 colour families Meow is really good for are Golds and Greens.  I lost count of how many of these I have. If you like the greens in the St Pattys Day collection, look out for the Christmas Trees next winter.  And if you love gold, check out the Egyptian Treasures collection.

Here's a neutral look I did on Sunday. 

I used:
TFSI Lemon Drop primer
Lid: Aromaleigh Mallow with Terpsichore on top
Crease: Tarte True Blood palette Dusk
To deepen crease: Tarte True Blood Stake
Browbone: Tarte True Blood The Light
Lower lashline: Stake on outer half, Shiro Moon Prism Power on top of UD Midnight Cowboy eyeliner.

Meow Cosmetics Supernaturals Swatches

Swatching in Winter sucks.  The sun is never out for long. So there's the lack of light for one.  Then there's the whole "I'd rather just sit here and watch Archer on Netflix" every day I have off.

Luckily I found some swatches I did June 30 2012... and just never posted!
Meow Cosmetics Supernaturals are a permanent collection filled with beautiful iridescent highlighting shades.  They would be really good inner corner shadows to brighten a look up.
I should have posted sooner because these are really pretty! There's probably a shade in here you will love.

My love is Illusion.  I'll explain in a second.

I can't believe I haven't even done Glacial Grove yet.  That one is super sparkly and wintery.

I probably won't do Winter Spirits ever.  I don't really like the colour palette and I think I'm too warm toned for most of those.

This post needs something Christmassy.

Here's my Christmas tree
