Glacial Grove

Flipping through my sample baggies I forgot I had snagged a bunch of Meow Cosmetics' Glacial Grove collection. It's kind of horrible I forgot, seeing as I bought jars too :s

So for today's look I used 2 of the colours.

Lid main: Cheers! from Xmas Ghosts
Corner and crease: Copse from Glacial Grove
Highlight: Dirty Snow from 12 Pains (I've got to learn to just use this under my eyebrow, it's kind of intense do use it on half your eye!)
Eyeliner above and below: Woodlands from Glacial Grove

Cheeks: a 50/50 mix of Fyrinnae Charm and Seduce
Then went over it in Avon Mark Kitten Glo for more sparkle

Lips: Mac Bubblegum



And for some reason my eyebrow ring scar looks super noticeable in white...





I had something else to say but forgot.

One more, MAC Spring Color (colour) Forecast Haul

I'm Canadian, there is a "U" in there because we love to use extra letters. And the English do it. And this is English so naturally there is a "u". hah!

Almost forgot! I bought a few things from the MAC Spring Colour Forecasts. There was free shipping. I could have walked to the store but usually some dipshit has already stolen a tester so I can't see the colour anyways.

I ordered:
Blush Ombre in Ripe Peach SC2F corals
Blush Ombre in Azalea Blossom SC1F pinks
Glaze Lipstick in Bubble gum SC1F pinks
Frost Lipstick in Victorian SC2F corals
Lipglass in Gold Dust SC4F ambers



I didn't order anything from the spring colour 3 forecast (plums). I just about grabbed the blush but I saw someone else's swatch and it was waaaay too dark for me. The Lavender Wind also sounded like a good idea, but after googling that swatch I changed my mind as well. I just looked like clear gloss. Waste.

My boyfriend was actually kind of shocked I didn't order a single eyeshadow. He hates the lip colours I picked but too bad for him :P

I'm not sure I like this one. It has a bit of a gold shimmer to it but the pink is a bit loud for me. I made it a bit more wearable by sticking Fyrinnae's Romantique on top and blotting it.




Meh. I guess in the pics you can't really tell I did anything :D

Just had a moment of duh, I have a frikkin lipglass! Use the frikkin lipglass!

Quick Green Look

I hate to wake up to an alarm on a Saturday! Crap. Damn dentist appointment.
I didn't feel like getting too detailed being all sleepy and such so I only used 2 colours. And one isn't even really an eyeshadow :)

I used:
Lid: NYX Pearl Mania in Grass Pearl
Highlight and rest of eye: Aromaleigh Gothic Lolita mineral shimmer in Dawnbright
Mascara. Done. Easy peasy lemon squeezey. No more Hannah Montana for me.

Sand Dune under a Full Moon

I bought all these Meow Cosmetics Egyptian Treasures months ago and silly me has only really used King Tut (tublahblahtoolong) twice. So yesterday I peeled the sticky of the sifter and used something new.

All shadows are from Meow Cosmetics, only the gold one is still available for now.

I used:
UDPP
FPE (I'm just going to start abbreviating Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy or call it Pixipox but maybe not, that sounds like a disease...)

Lid: Sand Dune from Egyptian Treasures line
Crease: Macabre from Halloween Zombies
Highlight: Full Moon from Halloween Zombies
Eyeliner lid: Coffin from Halloween Dance of Death
Eyeliner lower lash: Macabre again

It was hard to have the camera cooperate, it just doesn't like the flash that metallics give off so I sharpened the "eye" picture and one of the others, you will probably see the difference. The sharpened ones were super accurate to what I saw in my bathroom mirror. I may have to try this to older photos and see if that's what fixes them too.





P.S. I am very sad I didn't grab some full size Morgana Minerals awhile ago :(
I went to grab a few from my samples and only 1 colour was still available, Bronzine.
I really wanted Elven and Alyasis and Glowing Pearl. Also, I realize it's kinda pointless for me to tell you guys this because they are goners and you can't see how awesome they were :( RIP dear colours. RIP.

More Meow Gold Love

If you haven't tried even a single sample from the Meow Cosmetics Egyptian Treasures line.... SHAMETH ON THEE!!

In addition to uber brights, my other weakness is gold. Not the crap you wear on your fingers (unless it's white gold...) But in makeups! All makeups!

I was in a goldy mood so here be me look for today. I had to go to the dentist and take the stink machine aka BUS (one rule, when you get on, think of it as an elevator and TURN BACK AROUND you creepy old man).

I would have posted this one a couple of hours ago but I've been playing with photoshop filters again! :D I got a wicked cool avatar for my Twitter now :)

I used:

UDPP then Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (of course, can't have mediocre gold here yo!)

Inner 3rd: Ra
Middle of lid: Treasure
Outer 3rd and crease: Asp (this was greener than I remembered, durr on me, the site even says green lol
Highlight: Stardust Cosmetics in CASHMERE MITTENS! I lllllooooovvveee it. But you know this.
Lower lash: Ancient
Upper lash: Artifact (not a huge brown fan but this is one of my favourites along with Coffin)

Rimmel mascara again

Cheeks: Aromaleigh Rococco
Physicians Formula Pearls of perfection over top blush to blend and give more shimmery awesomeness.

Lips: Aromaleigh lip balm in sugarplum. I forgot about the lips part. Whoops. Didn't have time to fill me brows either :(

NYX In The Woods

Is boooooring. But that's probably because I don't like neutrals incase ya haven't guessed :)

So yesterday I used the NYX In The Woods trio.

I think if it was just called "3 browns in a pan" I would have skipped past it but I saw the name, and my brain thought, "Well ya know... you should always have safe colours around....and the name is AWESOME!"

Main: the 1st colour, medium shade
Crease and liner: 2nd colour and darkest
Highlight: 3rd and lightest shade



See? Boring! I should have slapped some green in there somewhere. Make it really woodsy :D

Urban Decay Smoke

I decided to do another Urban Decay look today after they've been in my head all week because of the new Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows. I will not buy that because I already have most of the colours from other palettes or I've bought the singles already.

Honestly Urban Decay, would it have killed you to get more creative and not re-release old colours? LAME. YOU ARE SO LAME!

But I used some today anyways.

Lid main: Nylon from the BOS II
Crease and lower lash: Mushroom from the BOS II and the Alice BOS
Highlight: Sin from BOS II
Extra highlight: Maui Wowie from Urban Ammo
Even more highlight up there because I STILL wasn't happeh: Polyester Bride Urban Ammo aka White Rabbit from Alice (also used it for the inner corner)

Cheeks: Fyrinnae Seduce mixed with Charm.

Lips: Fyrinnae Fanservice.




Full face with the "glamorous" filter. Yeahhhh.... so glam and such.... heh
