Yet MOAR Buttercupcakey Goodness

This look I did 2 weeks ago methinks.

I used:
UDPP
Lid: Aromaleigh Love Note
Crease: Sugarpill Cosmetics Bulletproof
Above Crease and Lower lashline: Sugarpill Cosmetics Buttercupcake
Liner and Lower Liner: MAC Black Line
Inner corner: I think I used Lumi
Browbone: I think this was Burberry Trench

And now click here to buy the greatest yellow eyeshadow in the solar system

This is the only look I've done in awhile, I've been reading again! Well, still I guess. Working on the Merry Gentry series, read all of Immortals After Dark (OMG I LOVE THEMZ! Covers are kinda goofy until you hit book 4. Actually 4 and 5's covers kinda suck also, skip to looking at book 6! :D) Read all the current Alien Huntress novels including the newest one I preordered. I'm eagerly waiting for this book to hurry up and be released. I think I tried to preorder that one 3 times because I couldn't remember if I did it already or not. IT'S STRIDER'S STORY! Yeahhh you probably don't know what I'm talking about. Stalk these books down and read em!
If you like these kind of books, on the right hand side where you see the button "Keeper of Strider" click on that and it'll take you to a really cool book review blog for books like these.
What else did I read.......
Oh yeah! The Masters of the Shadowlands books. They have nothing to do with immortal anything, but I really liked them. Turns out I'm not creeped out by BDSM. haha and there go 50 followers.

THE MORE YOU KNOOOOWWW

*RAINBOW*

What else, what else.

Oh look at this monster poutine I ate for dinner

Bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, chicken and of course cheese, fries and gravy.

HEARTATTACK!

Until next time folks! :)

What I did for my cousin lady's wedding!

First off, not my best work. I was extremely rushed and didn't have a plan. At all. She (my awesome cousin bride) wanted us both to have smokey eyes and I did my best in probably 10 minutes. I've never put makeup on so freakin fast in my LIFE. And that's including foundation and blush. I just knew I had to get it done and do hers still as her hair was getting done.
We missed out on the hair appointment so we were literally running down the Vegas strip trying to find a cheap salon or a friggin curling iron! Walgreens saved the day!
After I did my makeup we had something like 40 minutes until the limo came and it didn't pop into my head to do her makeup at the SAME TIME as she's getting her hair done for a few more minutes still. DDDUUUHHH on me.

Double duh on me because I FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE BRIDE! I frikkin fail so hard at this point, but really, just glad we managed to get 3 hair do's down and 2 faces made up and us dressed in under an hour.

So here's what I used for both of us.

TSFI
Lid: Meow Spider Monkey
Crease: MAC HK Lucky Tom (I think it's called)
It wasn't dark enough
CREASE REMIX! Meow's Illegal in 50 States
mucho bettah
Browbone: Champagney Ivory highlight colour from a company long closed down. I'm hoping Fyrinnae's Finnegan's Wake will be my happy replacement :)
Liner above and below: MAC Black Line

Ick, even my brows look like crap. Oh well :D
My cousin loved it so much she managed to stalk down 2 Black Line pencils and was able to order Spider Monkey right before it was taken down on Meow's site last night. I did good, I was able to link her the pages and find her the sale coupon in time!! Go me! :D I am the greatest enabler EVAR!

Speaking of awesome things. Returned my 2 MAC Mineralize shadows that looked like my Meow ones, got my money back, bought a book and placed a Fyrinnae order and still had $10 left over. Rock.and.roll.

dinosaur plushie. You are mine.

Rock A Betty Beauty

Since I'm poor as a mofo I was window shopping through Etsy when I came across Rock A Betty Beauty.

The awesome banner alone sucked me in.

They had a blogger review kit that I purchased for $3.75 and in it came 5 eyeshadow samples (Lid Lustres), a sample of their Pinup Glow and a cute business card.

The samples were chosen at random and I received (and their site descriptions):
Foam - A sparkly, shimmery white
Meringue - A soft, shimmery, lemonade
Heavy - A deep, earthy golden with gold glitter.
Petal - A shimmery sweet, cotton candy pink
Smoke - A deep, navy black loaded with rainbow glitter

Going to back to the website, I notice the shop swatches are quite a bit darker than what I actually got. Especially with "Heavy". Going by the shop swatch I would have skipped right past it, but luckily a sample was included in the kit because this was my favourite shade of the bunch!

Here is the site swatch

And here is the actual

But oh wells, that's what samples are for!

On to the colour!

Never having seen this shop before I wasn't sure what to expect but as soon as I started doing up my FOTD I was super impressed!

Here was the look I did

TFSI
Lid main: Heavy
Inner corner: meringue
crease liners: Smoke
Browbone: Foam

And ze FACE!

And on the the swatches!

Top row with primer
Foam, Meringue, Heavy, Petal, Smoke

Pinup Glow powder

Right now all the shadows are on for dirt cheap, $3! Size is .28oz. I'll admit I didn't pay attention to size conversions in school so I assume it's what you'd normally get. Any math whiz out there can inform me otherwise, that would be awesome :)

So get them at the low price while you can, it's just temporary to get rid of old packaging.

Other than my whinyness about the site swatches being a bit off, my only other complaint is with the glitter in Heavy. They are a bit too big and don't stay well, even with my primer. One blow to get rid of the fall out stuff and the glitter flies away. It's still really pretty even without it so I will be getting a full size eventually.

Pros:
Low shipping
Super pigmented
Easy to blend
Not a million and 12 shades (I get overwhelmed with pages and pages of shades)
Awesome buy more, save more deals

Cons:
That pesky glitter in Heavy
Site swatches iffy

When I can afford to, I shall make a real purchase. I see more colours I'd like to own :)

Saturday Night boredom - Smokey eyes! MSCHIC

*forgot to put video link in case peeps wanted to view, will add that now.

I forgot to show to eyes I did on Saturday!

Smokey eyes! I'm still trying to figure it out. I had this genius idea to do a giveaway contest based of people's best rock star/popstar/smokey eye look in celebration of me almost hitting 100 followers and in celebration of my almost cousin's new music video! (My actual cousin is in it as well! And the same cousin that wants me to do her makeup for the wedding, smokey eyes!) Warning, if scantily clad "officer" ladies are your enemy, you may not want to view :) But the song is awesome!

BUT I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and I have to order stuff online, and shipping to Canada takes 2.5 weeks, so I may have to just sit on my idea and also be on the lookout for stuff on vacay.

So no contest yet, but still, think about it! Falsies! Glitter! Wicked cat eyes! ROCK STAR!!! :D

Yup, I'm a weird one.

All I know is the prize will definitely have a bar of Lush Rockstar soap as one of the items. I'll go out this weekend and have a look around and may have to order stuff right before I leave so it's on it's way when I come home again.

But I got completely off topic there!

Here were the eyes I did (and I so did just one eye each, at the same time, it looked mega weird.)

Eye 1!
I used:
Aromaleigh Satin laces, inner half
Aromaleigh Aurelie outer half
MAC HK quad Lucky Tom in crease
MAC Tempting quad Next To Nothing browbone
MSCHIC eyestain liner Astral Shine upper liner
MAC Pearlglide intense Black Line lower lash smudged with Astral Shine
MSCHIC X-Rated mascara black
(just realized I'm a turd and forgot to tell Jangsara I received my package! Just realized again I forgot to tell you guys I won her contest to receive said package! I'm such a loser)

And here was number 2. I liked this one better but it's still too shimmery for the wedding photographer I think. I'll have to ask her.

NYX trio was used
Inner lid: White Pearl
Outter lid Silver
Crease: Charcoal
browbone: same as look 1
Liner: Astral Shine
Lower liner: Charcoal with a bit of Astral Shine on top to smudge
MSCHIC mascara

And together now!

And before I forget, this was the package I received from Jangsara:

Wrapped all purdy!

What's inside it!

And what's inside that!

And a closeup of the liner:

It's a dark shimmery grey to me. So far I really like it, the lid was a bit unscrewed when it arrived but it wasn't dried out at all. My first pot liner! I bought an angled liner brush just for the occasion :D

The mascara I'm still getting used to. The brush is massive! It's one of the old-school brushes. I prefer the gimmicky comb brush but I think that's only because I've been using them since the greatest mascara of all was invented and then discontinued (I'm looking at you Maybelline Lash Stylist!!!) This baby was free so I'm not complaining :)

You can get the schtuff here and they now have INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING! (Extra awesome for moi!)

White shadow experiment

Today I wanted to wear white shadow, so I pulled out a white I bought awhile ago from Annabelle called Snowflake. What a waste of $6. It might make a good highlight shade, but when you can much prettier shades, why frikkin bother?!? You failed me Annabelle!

So naturally I dug in to the mineral stash!

I called it an experiment, because I'm not pale, so white as a main colour could have gone horribly wrong!

I used:

UDPP
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Stardust cosmetics in Arctic Whisper for the inner half of lid, it has a really pretty blue sheen to it, but of course the camera never shows that kind of stuff :(
Meow Cosmetics in Fur coat, outer half of lid
Stardust Cosmetics in Equinox in crease, lower lash and wetlined on upper lash.
Stardust Cosmetics in Cashmere Mittens
Crappy rimmel that I will have to toss (I will NOT follow dumbass Doe's advice to "add water" to drying mascara and risk a gnarly eye infection, HOW DO YOU HAVE A MAKEUP BUSINESS WOMAN!?!)

Urban Decay Smoke

I decided to do another Urban Decay look today after they've been in my head all week because of the new Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows. I will not buy that because I already have most of the colours from other palettes or I've bought the singles already.

Honestly Urban Decay, would it have killed you to get more creative and not re-release old colours? LAME. YOU ARE SO LAME!

But I used some today anyways.

Lid main: Nylon from the BOS II
Crease and lower lash: Mushroom from the BOS II and the Alice BOS
Highlight: Sin from BOS II
Extra highlight: Maui Wowie from Urban Ammo
Even more highlight up there because I STILL wasn't happeh: Polyester Bride Urban Ammo aka White Rabbit from Alice (also used it for the inner corner)

Cheeks: Fyrinnae Seduce mixed with Charm.

Lips: Fyrinnae Fanservice.

Full face with the "glamorous" filter. Yeahhhh.... so glam and such.... heh

Me pissing around with a hat!
