More Suds N Sass Swatches

So behind! I realized I never did swatch my Suds N Sass Halloween kit when I got it last fall. It sold out pretty fast but something went wrong and Elizabeth had an extra kit for sale announced on Twitter and I jumped on that!

It came in a cute little pumpkin with a halloween thank you card and a pink ticket. You can learn more about pink tickets HERE I think they are an awesome idea, and yup I'm completely biased because my ticket won a $25 gift card :D

So today I swatched that order and my most recent one because lucky for you guys, the eyeshadows and glitters in the Halloween kit AND Autumn kit are still available!

I don't have the Aumtumn kit but I think the shades in that were: Summers End Hayride and Fall Harvest with the pixie dust being Sparkling Cider which I grabbed and swatched today.
Luna swatched both kits here along with the glosses. Only Poisoned Apple looks like it's still available.

The halloween kit was: Cemetery Gates Dead of Night and Sleepy Hollow with the pixie dust being Lucky 13. Out of the 2 glosses in the kit, Hocus Pocus is still available and it is BEAUTIFUL!

First of all I am SO HAPPY she has these awesome Lush dupe fragrances (American Dream is American Cream and Rock Candy is Rock Star) because it's such a pain in the ass to only be able to get Rock Star in soap form from Lush and American Cream solid perfume isn't sold anymore.

Last but not least, the interference lip Glaze in Los Angeles!

You know I'm a sucker for that green sheen in ANYTHING so this is one of my favourite lip products ever. It lets the pink of your natural lips show but covers them in a lovely greeny yellow shimmer that is AWESOME!

Suds N Sass blues

Hi!
My mister went in to work today so that meant I could spend allll the time I wanted on my makeup, he wasn't there to rush me :)

I had no actual plan in mind, I just knew I wanted to play with some more Suds N Sass shades. And Piercing Parlor was grey/silver so that was to be the main colour, with my new greys obsession and all :D

The stuff!



I used:
Lid: Piercing Parlor
Crease: Poolside
Slightly above crease and inner corners: Surfs Up
Liner: UD Zero with Tattoo shop patted on top. This shade is super sparkly and is best to treat it like a glitter and use it on top a sticky base.
cheeks: Raspberry Snow Cone
Lips: Avon Classic Nude gloss

It ended up looking more blue in the end but that's okay :)

I almost forgot to post my newest EOTD!
Here's a look I did using the samples Elizabeth sent me over from Suds N Sass

I had to use the yellow.

It was yellow.

It must be used first.

Word.

Lid: Banana Taffy
Crease: Sunburn
Above crease: Summertime
Browbone: Sandcastle






If I had more time I would have lined it with Tidal Wave! Stupid mornings and their lack of time to do neato makeup stuff :(

Suds N Sass - A Day at the Beach

Why hello there!

Elizabeth from Suds N Sass kindly sent me over some samples from her new makeup collection to review.

I've heard good reviews about her perfumes and bath products, so I was very happy to hear there was makeup as well! (Who doesn't love makeup!?!?!)

The collection is called "A Day at the Beach" and consists of:

15 eyeshadow
2 blushes
2 highlighters
2 bronzers



I swatched the shadows on Too Faced Shadow Insurance. As usual, click on pics to blow up to maximum awesome.

I loved Poolside! It reminded me of the discontinued avon e/s I wore in this post except the Suds N Sass version was definitely more pigmented.
Banana Taffy is awesome because it's yellow! Yellow is my weakness.
Beach Sand is a very pretty browbone shade, it has tiny pink sparkles.
Flip Flops surprised me, I didn't expect sparkles! Of course sparkles means...must...swatch...over...Pixie...Epoxy!

Sunburn is darker than it looks in photo. Boardwalk is very pretty, it's hard to see in picture but it has pink sparkles! Beach Babe is a pretty golden shade.

Up next, Blush and Highlighter! For some reason it was hard for me to get a clear picture, so this will have to do :s



Cotton Candy, Raspberry Snow Cone, Pink Horizons, Golden Rays

I re-swatched the highlighters because I realized my arm was dry and I'd use them on a moisturized face so I wanted a more accurate swatching. I swatched them with the Bronzers.
