I tried to organize my crap today but that didn't go so well. 1 Makeup company got sorted and that's about it.

My collection has grown quite a bit from last summer and it's starting to just get ridiculous. I have 2 orders on their way to me and I think that's it until xmas time but then I'm going to try super hard not to buy anymore makeup other than the essentials. I found shit I don't remember buying! NICE!
BTW my sorting turned into "throw shit into drawer with like-items" I would love to try to blog-sale some of my stuff but Canadian shipping to anywhere is stupid expensive.

When I sorted my Meow stuff I found Abduction and it looked close to the yellowy green I've been hunting for! But it's not quite there yet...

What prompted me to try to do a glitter crease is THIS SWEET LOOK by EyeGraffiti. I don't know how she did it cuz mine kinda flopped but go there and subcribe! Her looks are awesome and should have maaaaaany more followers.

HAH! Flash made my face uber pale in the first pic. I need to find a finishing powder that likes flash. That would be nifty.

Craptastic books currently reading right here. Holy lordy they are not very good. The cyborgs are basically rapists cuz she's all like "hellz now" and he's all like "BUT YOU WILL LIKE IT AND BE PROPERTY YOU PUNY WOMAN" and then she's all like "YOU WERE RIGHT I LOVE YOU NOW" the end. That so doesn't count as a spolier because that would mean I ruined a story, but it pretty much ruins itself...

More Suds N Sass Swatches

So behind! I realized I never did swatch my Suds N Sass Halloween kit when I got it last fall. It sold out pretty fast but something went wrong and Elizabeth had an extra kit for sale announced on Twitter and I jumped on that!

It came in a cute little pumpkin with a halloween thank you card and a pink ticket. You can learn more about pink tickets HERE I think they are an awesome idea, and yup I'm completely biased because my ticket won a $25 gift card :D

So today I swatched that order and my most recent one because lucky for you guys, the eyeshadows and glitters in the Halloween kit AND Autumn kit are still available!

I don't have the Aumtumn kit but I think the shades in that were: Summers End Hayride and Fall Harvest with the pixie dust being Sparkling Cider which I grabbed and swatched today.
Luna swatched both kits here along with the glosses. Only Poisoned Apple looks like it's still available.

The halloween kit was: Cemetery Gates Dead of Night and Sleepy Hollow with the pixie dust being Lucky 13. Out of the 2 glosses in the kit, Hocus Pocus is still available and it is BEAUTIFUL!

Last but not least, the interference lip Glaze in Los Angeles!

You know I'm a sucker for that green sheen in ANYTHING so this is one of my favourite lip products ever. It lets the pink of your natural lips show but covers them in a lovely greeny yellow shimmer that is AWESOME!

Sparkles! Birthday dinner makeup

Hi!

My mister took me out for my bday dinner last night because we couldn't last week with my cousin's wedding, so I wanted loads of sparkles!

I've only worn sparkles one other time as a lid shade and I forgot what I did, so I sort of just flew with it this time.

I used:
TFSI
Pixie Epoxy just on main lid part
Lid: Aromaleigh Sonic Glitter in Shakeitup
Crease: Aromaleigh Freakshow from Victoria's Revenge collection
Liner: MSCHIC Astral Shine (I think it may be discontinued)
Lower liner: Meow Illegal in 50 States from Guilty Pleasures collection
Browbone: Meow Chameleon glow powder from Lost Rainforest collection

SPARKLES!

Also I <3 Freakshow so much. It's like a dirty brown if that makes sense and not just a regular brown. It's very steampunk-y to me. Awesome colour for creases! If you can find it or someone will swap it to you, TAKE IT!!!







Lips Morgana Minerals Raspberry lipstick. The dude hates lipstick usually but I remember wearing a sample of this awhile ago and he actually liked it. Naturally I had to get a full size :D



All the damn lip pics wanted to be blurry. I HATE U BLURRRRRR!

And meh face. Ignore me looking bald and shit. My hair was still pulled back for work and I didn't want to take 8 hrs to make it straight. Oh and ignore my white friggin flash face. My face actually matched my neck in real life but the flash didn't like my translucent finishing powder and decided to embarrass me greatly.

Oh I took an updated Aromaleigh collection shot for ya! Back when Kristen did a "show me your stash" I managed to round everything up but I didn't get to send them because it was announced AL was closing so I didn't bother. I had orders to place yo!

One more thing! I just made my very first Detrivore order. On ebay they were selling a pack of their 1st 50 samples and a bonus primer for just $25. SOLD. Even if just for that primer. I keep seeing guuud things about that schtuff. If they would make super sweet sample packs of their mattes and satins and blushes, I'd buy the shit out of those.

Glitter and Falsies!

So the EOTD was kind of a fail, I didn't chose the right combo and my glitter lining skills suck the big one.

I also used the new Maybelline Falsies mascara.

Is there some trick to this damn thing? It works on my left eye (right in pic) but I can't get it right on the other. This is why I hate brushes that aren't combs, when they are made, the little bristles seem to favour one side because of the way they spiral down the brush. Each eye is done from a slightly different angle so I'd prefer no slanting if that makes sense :)

And what's with the weird divot part way up the wand? It just looks like a weak spot.

And here's what I mean by one side looking wonky (sorry for the bit of blurry, I tried 4 times to try to catch both eyes and this was the least fail of the bunch)



See how the one on your right looks okay but the left is like WTF ARE YOU DOING TO ME LADY!!

I don't think I'll buy this again. If I can I may try cleaning my Lash Stylist wand and try to use it with the formula.

And on to the shadow!

Liner: Pixie Epoxy smeared on like liner with Bete Noire glitter in Morgaine pressed on top.

I didn't make my line as pointed as I wanted, it's hard to see when you're first putting on clear colourless liquid! :D

I may not have a look for tomorrow, I got some kind of weird sickness happening. It felt like it did when I had tonsillitis. The problem there? I got those babies ripped out of me a few years ago. I haven't taken any medicine yet but I still feel light headed and all weak and junk. At least the odd "HOLY CRAP IT'S 30 DEGREES OUT BUT I NEED 2 BLANKIES AND A HOUSE COAT TO BE WARMISH" is over. I was shivering so hard I chomped on my tongue.

On the positive side? Me being home from work sick, I just got a call my glasses are in!! I can't wait to show them off :)

Lemon Sparkles!

The ebil hangover I had this morning seems to have subsided so...

Here's yesterday's look I feel uber proud of. CUZ I USED SPARKLES!! WHEEE!!!!

I totally copied Ms BLIX! Or attempted to anyway :D

I used:

UDPP
NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Yellow smeared lightly and evenly for a backup base colour for the sparkles
Aromaleigh Golden Chrysalis in the crease and lower lashline
Random Rimmel nude shade from the Winter Muse palette for browbone highlight
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy on just the main lid part
Lame Crime glitter which I wont bother saying the name of for the pure fact that it was repackaged and sold for a ridiculous amount (not mad at the repacked part in this case, it's glitter, but I didn't know I could get the same elsewhere for MUCH less and bought 6 of these damn jars. 2 years ago! And just using it now!)
The equivalent is Aromaleigh's Kerosene I think, and BFTE's Winner
Body shop craptastic liner (I really have to get myself a regular one!)
Rimmel Lash Maxxx mascara in black

Cheeks, Avon Mark Star Glo
Claire's not so bronzey bronzer for cheek highlight

I used the blemish fixer tool to get rid of the millions of spots on my face that foundation wasn't able to hide just so you didn't get distracted by my skin fail and can focus on the wickedness that is ze GLITTAH!


After doing this look I think I'm more comfortable playing with glitter now. I have about 15 little jars I was scared to use and there are 2 other AL glitters I'd love to do a look with, Nowherefast and Shakeitup, I just have the sample bags, but would love to get f/s in the future.
