Okay folks. I'm probably the last to swatch these babies. Blame Canada post yo! I think I could ride my bike across the border faster than it takes them to deliver packages to me. :s

Miss K sent me these pretties to swatch for you, so hopefully you guys see something you like. One thing I've noticed so far is how many pretty rainbow sparkles are in these. Not chunky sparkles but bigger than shimmer sparks. Kinda confusing to describe. I tried my best to get the sparks to show up. The blurrier pics seem to make them pop out better.

Because of the sparks I decided to swatch them on top of TFSI and FPE (For now on I'm just abbreviating Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy :D

I tried my best to describe the shades, I'm horrible at explaining things. I also didn't read other bloggers descriptions incase they plopped into my head and I accidentally copied them. So these are my take on them :) (also please excuse my overuse of "rainbow sparks" but they are there so I didn't want to leave them out!)

Skeleton Key
Steel grey with rainbow sparks throughout. Make this the key to your makeup routine.

Airy Ethos
Burnt mustard with copper pink and rainbow sparks. Lose yourself in the ether. (That may not even mean the same thing but it sounds cool :D )

Infernal Chaos
Nude cream with slight green shimmer and rainbow sparks. For the natural look with a kick.

Freakshow
Khaki brown with a hint of green, rainbow sparks. (I pretty much gave up trying to be witty here, I suck at imagination)

Oleander Vapour
Medium mauved out pink with rainbow sparks

Mojo is a no-jo?

Do you guys ever have a
"wtf there is like every colour of the rainbow in this damn box but I still have nothing to wear!"
type of week/month?

My lack of time in the mornings have turned me BORING!

Here's my look from Monday. I loved it but I already did something similar not too long ago.

The mojo is lost :(

I used:

TSFI (btw just realized everytime I typed UDPP, I was wrong! That dried up on me long ago! 'Twas always TSFI, but I guess my fingers thought UDPP was easier to type :)

NYX Jumbo eye pencil in Cottage Cheese spread all over main lid part for extra stick
Aromaleigh Pettitcoat matte yellow on top of the jumbo eye pencil
Aromaleigh Brownstone in the crease
Hilight I failed again, I can't recall.
Upper liner, ebil Body Shop glitter liner. I was washing this crap off my face the next night, it does NOT want to get off. Seriously TheBodyShop, that glitter CAN NOT be eyesafe. That shit HURTS! Link is there to show you what NOT to buy. I had to Q-tip it off my eyeballs again to stop the scratchyness.
Lower liner is MAC Black Liner Pearglide Intense liner smudged to look all dark and cool and stuff.







I better get back to my couch now, the dude wants to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm. Awkwardy awkwardness that show is.

Teh SKY!

There was odd weather happening lately, funnel clouds were seen in the city but they didn't touch down. What was really cool, was the tornado shaped cloud that decided to float on by me :D


It looks like a monster dog eating a tornado!

EOTD's part 3! Green Yellow and Too Pricey to Care

THR33!

Last year at work, for inventory I wore a redo of this look
to attempt to intimidate people so they wouldn't ask me any questions :D

It worked but this year I decided to go less goth,and I no longer have that awesome hair so I went with yellow.

The liner was used dry so it didn't wing out very nicely for me :(

I used:

Lid main: Aromaleigh Real Gone
Crease: AL Smokin'
Browbone: Silk Naturals Whisper (I think)
Liner: Meow Cosmetics Coffin

It looked different in real life though, the yellow seemed softer and the crease was more grey than purple.





Here was yesterday's look I did using 0 minerals. I have all these damn compacts and I never use them much because of the wonderful loose minerals I now have.

I think I heard Urban Decay crying in the corner and I was like, Okay little dudes, I'll use you tomorrow.

And I had a dream I covered my entire face in mac rubenesque. So golden pink was definitely on the mind!

Urban Decay's X was my fav golden pink. Then Fyrinnae came along and kicked it's $18 ass with Rapunzel Had Extensions. Thanks guys! :D

So here's a super overpriced look using no glorious loose pigments, just overpriced, over fallout-y, colour payoff fail-y Urban Decay.

Main: X
Crease: Eldorado
Browbone: Midnight Cowgirl
Liner: MAC Undercurrent pearlglide intense
Lower liner: Chronic matte UD







It didn't turn out horrible but it just didn't blow me away for the price of all the products used. UD is $21 each for us Canucks and the MAC liner was $17.50. Toss in the mascara and this becomes a >$100 look! WTF!


The next look was my fav out of all of them. My camera decided to be a douche though, the pics are a bit blurry.

EOTD part 2!!! Purples, Pink!

This was last Saturday's look I wore when I went to ze mall. I don't have a license and the mall is just a 10 minute walk, so the mall won.

It was friggin miserable out too and I forgot an unbrella. This place is humid as hell, so it was hot, humid, and rainy! But I somehow managed to skip raccoon eyes in the end.

Here are PURPLES! My hairdresser loved it, she told the other chickie that I always have awesome makeup :) That made me less grumpy :D

I used:

Lid main: Aromaleigh What's Shakin'?
Crease: I'll give you 5 bucks to tell me! This is one I forgot. It was Aromaleigh, I think Smokin'.
Browbone: AL Maiden
Liner: Meow Cosmetics Feliner wetlined in Krazy Cat. A little was used below lash line as well over top of What's Shakin'?
Same mascara as always :D







I loooooove the Krazy Kat liner. I kept botching it and makeup removing the wing and trying to reline. PAIN IN THE ASS. But oh so pretty :D


Another AL purple look I did with En Point samples I had:

Main: Dulcinea
Crease: Waltz
Browbone: Sylph






I didn't have time to line again. It sucks, because it could have amped this up. Also Sylph is best enjoyed over Pixie Epoxy. I didn't use any in this one and the sparkles decided not to like me and the shadow emphasised tiny ass eyebrow hairs on my browbone I didn't even see in my mirror. Why does the cam chose to like tiny ass eyebrow hairs but try to get it to pick up some shimmer and it's all "fuck you samsquamch!"

These shades are so insanely sparkly the camera didn't pick them up as good as I would have liked. In the sunlight, PURE MAGIC.

EOTD's part 1!

Oui oui, part un! I have 9 lined up but I'll split them up so compys won't die of pic overload.
I've been slacking, the man is working and not working on stupid days of the week (aka not my hours Monday-Friday) so I've been saddened, lame and lazy and haven't cropped much. I've been taking more cloud pics cuz I'm weird like that.
Anyways, on to the MAKEUPS!

I'm trying my hardest to remember what was what. I think there are just to shadows I'm unsure of, for what I used the last week and a bit.

Here we go!

Here's one I was unsure of what the main lid shade was. All I remember is it wasn't mineral :S

I used:
Crease: MAC Bitter
Browbone hilight: MAC Naked
Liner: Dark brown from the Jane Greens quad.


CREEPY EYE STARING YOU DOWN!



And I tried to copy a pretty look I saw in Cosmo magazine. I'm not sure if I liked it. Of course it would never look as good as it did on the airbrushed model but it's always saddening when that happens.
(ah crapo, the time it took me to type that I burned my popcorn)

Those are 2 of my favourite shadows but something is missing! Crease! Or something...

Next up, Avon Mark schtuffs. Living Doll is still my favourite pink shadow ever. It's very similar to MAC's Cool Pink, but sadly, BOTH are discontinued, so I don't wear this one as much as I'd like to.
This look sucked, I didn't have time to line or darken the crease. It's sort of fairy like in the colour choice at least :D
