While I was still sick in the head I saw a super duper look over at Clever Endeavor and I wanted to copycat it. I didn't get time until yesterday with the whole vacationy stuff, makeup melting off in extreme temps/new makeups to try ooot.

Also, the camera was being a lamewad and only 1 pic didn't turn out blurry. Imma go shove this bitch in the microwave now.

Also on a side note, I can see the makeup police are trying to pick out what blogs they deem worthy of their viewing pleasure. And that by getting products sent for review, they'll get less than honest results. Seriously?

For one, I blog because I love colours and it's a great way to keep track of the looks I've done and what makeup I've used. Views and comments are a welcome bonus but I won't go cry in a corner without them. At the end of the day, it's for MEH. Selfish? Totally, but it's my blog and it's like a big ol journal with pics and if someone doesn't like what I say in it, oh well, you can't tell me what I can or can't write about and how I write about it. If I wanted to start writing about laying cement, I will. But I won't because I think that's so fucking boring. :)

Yes I was sent the AL Lost in Faerie collection. I also bought the entire collection with my own money. Same with Victoria's Revenge, I think I ended up with 12 f/s from there. If I see a colour I like, I'll buy it. If I didn't love it, I wouldn't buy it DUHHH. When Suds N Sass allows orders to go through, I'll buy my favs and some perfume there also. (Which reminds me, you still have 2 weeks to use the "hovercatmittens" coupon code to save 15% if you want)

So the moral of the story is, I really gotta stop lurking at that shit for a site and keep doing my own thing. If I wanted cheap chuckles I should have just gone here instead...

Last night's look didn't really have a plan. I saw my jars of Aromaleigh Rocks! shadows and that made me dig in my sample binder and pull out Suspectdevice. I'm still working on figuring out what to pear such an odd colour with so I tried to keep it simple.

No lower liner, I forgot. teeheeee

I got all purdified to go to Sephora today just to learn the malls here close at 5 :( That's disappointing.

Earlier I was making one of my crazy Fyrinnae dream carts (I need to get 81 items at $225.40 BEE TEE DOUBLE YOUUUU) and I was inspired by their "Painted Roses" shade. I don't have it yet, so I dug around my stash and tried to find something similar.

This is what I came up with.

Annabelle blush in Rapture, part of their spring 2010 line. Peachy with gold, my fav combo.





And the possible not so great buy, Physicians Formula mineral wear primer/corrector/powder compact in Translucent. I think it may be too light for me and probably for use under powder foundation, but I will see how it does under my liquid.



And it comes with the world's most ass ugly brush I have ever seen.



And the last thing, which I will for sure be returning is this Alice in Wonderland body spray/lotion set. There were 4 different scents and I grabbed the one that had a bottle opened to sniff and thought I liked it so grabbed the travel set (remember the hoarding post? I so do not need more full size ANYTHING) and I grabbed the Cherries and Whipped Vanilla with a Hint of Orange Zest set.

Shit.

It was mostly water. In the body spray as well as the lotion. And any note you could pick out was a weird chemical melon smell and then it fades to nothing in 20 seconds. So sad about that. CHERRIES, VANILLA AND ORANGE! That's an effing killer combo! You failed Disney and I'm getting my $13 back.

There was a Creamy Florals with Spice scent spray. It's probably shit too.



On a side note, I'm totally trying to sell Kellie Pickler on Aromaleigh's Foundations on Twitter. She said she's too pale for anything she's found yet. AROMALEIGH KELLIE! AROMALEIGH!

I'm unsure if I liked today's look. Yesterday's kind of sucked as well so I don't think I'll post it. Maybe if I want shtuffs to do later :)

Aromaleigh's Sonic Rocks! eyeshadows are currently being reformulated so Kristen is selling off ALL the old stock at 35% off. I grabbed 9. I'm probably stupid for placing an order right away because I know in the past I have bad timing and I have a feeling these may go on the 25% off sale in a few days so they will be 35% off and then maybe 25% off. That's just me assuming. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT ASSUMERS! But yeah. My luck is like that. I JUST finally spent my $25 coupon from the gem hunt because I know you can't use 2 coupons so I thought what's the sense of saving it and then BAMMO, these babies go on at 35% off a couple weeks later, no coupon needed. Yup. Bad timing me. And for some reason that whole order I made doesn't show up in my order history either. But this is just me being a big ol' whiny baby face :P

In December, when the rocks! went on sale at 50% off I grabbed all the colours I didn't have yet and was intrigued by Peek-a-boo. It's a very odd colour I have never seen in a shadow! It's a pastel-y, pale orangey, peachy, nude colour. The site description is: tangerine coral with multi-glow gliitz. blacklight reactive. All I know is it looked frikkin awesome on my hand and I had to grab a full size in case the colour formula changed too much :D

The problem with this colour...what the hell do I pair it with?!? I even asked my mister because I was so lost! Now THAT is desparate.

I settled on another colour I grabbed from the sale and this is what I ended up with:

Anyone have any suggestions on what to pair this colour with? I think maybe bright pink or a bright blue but I really have no idea.
