I decided to switch it up! with....NEUTRALS!

Holy crap, has she gone mad? Brown? WTF! WHERE'S THE BRIGHT PINK, LADY?!? GIMMIE YELLOW!

Well nah. Not for Sunday's makeup (I know I messed up the order of my EOTD's, I got behind reading a horrible book that has to do with a certain emo shimmer vamp boy and his whiny klutz gf.)

BACK TO LA MAKEUPZ! I wanted a neutral look to use some new colours I've received

A very nice lady on the Aromaleigh forum was kind enough to part with some of her collection and sold a bunch of limited edition holiday eyeshadows.
For this look I used Butterscotch and Allspice from the Aromaleigh Holliday 08 collection (not Blast) and Stardust Cosmetics in Cashmere Mittens to hilight. Eyeliner is Urban Decay in Bourbon.

Purple Fail

The only reason I'm posting this one is because I liked the way my lower lashes looked lol. I didn't have time for eyeliner so the purples I used made me look washed out and sickly.

The other terrible part? I can't effing remember what colours I used and this was just from Monday! I honestly don't have a clue. It was mineral makeup but that's all I can tell ya. 3 shades in there and my brain doesn't feel like acknowledging it. It's trying to repress it me thinks.

Catch-up Saturday's Look GOLD

This one didn't turn out as great as I wanted.
The shade of gold wasn't quite what I was wanting. I was inspired by the gold eye look on The Gloss Goss blog.
I think I used Stardust in Ribbons & Bows but it was too dark for what I wanted to I went over it in a gold shade from Meow (I have so many I can't remember the exact one now :( but it wasn't right either. I used Stardust Equinox on the crease and tried to foil TSS Zelda's Revenge as the eyeliner. I should have used Meow's Coffin eyeliner. Ya just can't lose with that one!
It came out all wrong but whatevs! It's just makeup and if people on the street didn't like it too bad they don't have to looks at me :D (that "s" at the end of look was a typo but it's totally something I'd say so it STAYS!) hah!
Back to crazy town for me. Not the crappy band.

The tree is up!

I finally got around to decorating the tree, I had it up for about a week but not decorated. I decided I should do something because we'll only be here for 2 more weeks until we go back home for Christmas.

We had a real tree 4 years ago but my boyfriend didn't like the needles everywhere so I said "Fine, fake tree will be done MY WAY then" and I bought a huge 7.5ft tall WHITE TREE!!! I saw a big white tree on the Anna Nicole show and hers had pink all over it and I thought it would be sweet to have a black and white tree. Then it looked a little odd so red went in as well to create one big kick ass tree! I could have put more ornaments up but I got lazy.

Most of them are from Ikea. I like that right now my living room set and ornaments are all unique here because Winnipeg doesn't have an Ikea yet. Other ornaments from Avon or the Bay or Disney store! (yes I got nightmare before christmas ornaments!)

This picture on my Flickr account has more views than any other pic I got on there. 1444 views since May 16 this year so it's just under 7 months old. I'm not sure why the views. Bonne Bell Lip Smackers. It's not even that detailed, you mostly see lids and the ones you can see, are just kinda sitting there not doing anything fancy (not that I expect a lip balm to dance and pose or anything...sure I don't..) I even just slapped them on a cardboard box, so no fancy backdrop either.

Some of them I've had since I was 10 ish, more than half my life. You can tell by the odd smells some of them have lol. I just like the purdy lil tubes. I have a set of Barbie ones that I use regularly because I am sad I didn't use these ones more. Candy Confetti, Kaleidoscope Candy, Mint Chocoship and Nilla Mint were my favs and no longer smell like they used to. Chocolate Raspberry was just gross. It came in a plastic candy cane tube that had 3 flavours, the start of the collection!
One year they came out with a 6 piece set in a tin. They were all equally horrible. I think I had a bad batch. They all smelled similar and really were bad. I won't even use them if my lips are super chapped.
The only 2 ones I used up all the way were Peppermint and Cherry. Yup. No weird extra special holiday flavour. Good ol peppermint and a Cherry. I think in my mind it's because I assume you will always be able to get a Peppermint Lip Smacker and a Cherry Lip Smacker but Kaleidoscope Candy is FOREVER! K that didn't make sense :D But you know what I mean!

COOKIE PARTY!!!!

I got my Aromaleigh Holiday Blast collection (I was a dope and forgot to wait a week for them to go on sale and grabbed the whole set :s )

I was super duper excited to see Champagne Toast in real life. Did anyone else ask themselves why on earth is the name Champagne Toast, like soggy toast? It took me 3 weeks to have it click in my head that it meant clicking glasses!

Anyways, long blonde moment passed, and I swiped them on my hands to check out the sparkley goodness and WOW! The one that jumped out the most for me was Cookie Party so that's the colour I used today along with High Heels I believe, Champagne Toast to highlight and Times Square under eyes.



I want to try to grab a second Cookie Party before they are all gone.

PATIENCE! I don't think I waited to get my L'Orchidees on sale either. I am a complete compulsive shopper. This time I shall wait. Painfully, painfully wait.

Poker Bear! Vetala Bear? Vetala Strip Poker Bear? Whatevs

I felt the Fyrinnae urge again.

I used Polar Bear (my fav golden hilight shade)
Vetala (from their professional colours, as the main)
Strip Poker (This one would need the pixie epoxy to show he sparkles, I accidently rubbed most of them off )

And Charm for blush but ya can't see that! I hate taking full face work day pictures because I always have my hair pulled back to keep it out of my face and then I end up looking bald.
